Announces New Officers

The Broadband Services Forum (BSF), today announced the election of its Board of Directors for 2007-2008 as well as new appointments to BSF Officer roles.

The BSF Board of Directors for 2007-2008 includes:
- Helmut Leopold of Telekom Austria, Chairman
- Ajay Pande of Alcatel-Lucent, Vice Chairman
- Joe Mosher of Bell Aliant, Treasurer
- Gary Southwell of Juniper Networks, Secretary
- Bob Farrell of BT, Board Member
- Sameer Sheth of Nortel, Board Member

In addition, Greg Owens of Alcatel-Lucent was elected Chairman of the BSF Marketing Committee.

...At the Forum's upcoming Annual General Meeting in Ottawa, Canada (June 6-7) attendees will hear presentations from industry leaders and discuss initiatives critical to the continued progression of the broadband services industry.The two-day session, sponsored by Nortel, will focus on "Advanced Applications" and feature thought-provoking discussions on a variety of topics.
